‘Build Him a Temple of Praise’
Our goal as the Praise and Worship Arts Ministry Team is to Build Him a Temple of Praise.
1 Peter 2:5 says that we are living stones fitted together as the house of God,
and
Psalm 22:3 says that God is enthroned upon the praises of His people.
We are committed to lifting up the wonderful name of Jesus and ministering to His people through the wonderful gifts of the creative and technical arts.
What is Worship Arts?
Worship Arts is the ministry area of Wollongong Church of Christ that incorporates the following departments: Music; Drama; Multi-Media; Sound; Lighting; and hopefully soon Stage Management; Set Design; Video; Dance and a possible return from the Choir. In other words Worship Arts Ministry involves technical and creative disciplines that can be used to facilitate the worship of God. It is our hope that as these various disciplines come together in serving the church that we will facilitate wonderfully creative times of worship where the Spirit of God can come and manifest Himself amongst His people, continuing the work of transformation in our lives; equipping and empowering His body to go and reach out to our broken and hurting world with the love, grace, and compassion of Jesus.

Are you interested in becoming involved in serving the Lord as part of the Worship Arts Team here at WCC? We welcome your interest and look forward to answering any questions you may have. Total Team Nights 2010
We will be holding Bi-Monthly Team Nights throughout 2010. These nights are a time for the whole Worship Arts community to come together to worship, pray, seek the Lord together and be encouraged and inspired with practical teaching and vision to better facilitate authentic and rich times of corporate worship.
