A social networking group for single and single again adults who want to actively seek the best out of life, see positive changes and embrace them.

Social Activities

Social activities include a variety of events from bushwalking to dinners, movies to fun nights and Tables of Eight events. Cost and venue varies. Some activities are child friendly, others are not. Please see all the upcoming seechangers Events at the bottom of this page for more information.

"TABLES OF EIGHT" - T8 Events

Table of Eight activities are for single people in their 40's and 50's who would like to meet new people. The events will not cater for children. At all events we will attempt to have close to a gender balance and on Saturday night Tables of Eight dinners there will be an even ratio with the exception if someone doesn't turn up. On Saturday night T8 dinners also be prepared for alternating male / female seating and to move seats between courses so as to meet and chat with more people. If you are working through a separation, we recommend that you focus on overcoming and healing from your past relationship first and attend the other activities available.

Meets every Thursday morning 10am - 11:45am during school term. Childcare available.

Personal Development and Recovery Courses

Separation and Divorce Recovery Workshops, for adults and children, and other personal growth courses are scheduled regularly and have been of immense benefit for those seeking help and support, and those wanting to move on from past experiences.

New Steps Support Group

A fortnightly support group for those who have experienced separation and divorce. We recommend that you do a recovery course, however for ongoing support and further growth this group may be for you. New Steps is held on the first and third Monday of the month, 7pm to 8:30pm, most of the yeah in one of the meeting rooms of the Figtree Campus and is led by Ken Bond.

A Church That Will Welcome You

Looking for a Church home? Come and visit us and stay for coffee afterwards and meet with the many Sole Parents and Singles that attend our services, especially 10:30am service at the Figree Campus.

Remember to check out other ministry areas where you will also find the involvement of single adults. For example, young mums will also gain great support from our MOPS program (Women’s Ministry), men will benefit from the activities of the men’s ministry. We are also in the process of developing our overseas missions program to South East Asia, particularly Sri Lanka and the Philippines which will include short term mission trips involving volunteer working groups.

To contact a coordinator close to an event should you need to check an event if raining, running late or cancelling at short notice, can't find us, etc.
The phone will be given to the organiser of the upcoming weekend activities during the preceding week. The phone will be available later in the week, at suitable hours for the event organiser. Restaurant and other bookings need to be made as specified with each event. Note, we do not reply to RSVP's made by sms or email, however you should generally know if the message was not sent or delivered.
